American-born, French dancer, singer and actor Josephine Baker was known for her wild, frenetic, risqué dancing at the Folies Bergère in the 1920s, but she was also a WW2 spy, a civil rights campaigner and Mother to 12 adopted children. This portrait celebrates her spectacular stage attire, unique dance routines, her fondness for exotic animals and her revolutionary booty shaking ‘Danse Sauvage’.

This towel is quality 400gsm soft 100% cotton, with traditional terry towelling on the reverse and microfibre velour on the face of the towel. It measures 40x60cm and is suitable to use as a tea towel or small hand towel.

Care instructions: machine wash warm, do not use bleach, tumble dry low and do not iron.

All packaging has been sourced from eco-conscious suppliers using recycled and/or biodegradable materials where possible.
