About The Artist

The abandoned, unloved and unwanted are transformed into unique art works rich in narrative and intrigue.

 

My mixed media collages start life as discarded prints, magazines, calendars, posters, vintage photographs and much more, that are lovingly cut up, reconstructed, layered and embellished to create lavish maximalist art. I am inspired by the kitsch and colourful nostalgia of mid-century advertising, classic stage and screen glamour, fairground signage, iconography and the colours of Mexico.

 

I love to hide objects and symbolism in each piece to tell the story (which could be part truth and part fiction) inspired by the theme, people or events being depicted. 

My work has been exhibited around the UK, transformed into upholstery fabric, made into a bespoke wallpaper mural for Hilton London Metropole and exhibited on billboards at Latitude Festival 2023.
