Björk signed limited edition giclee art print

This portrait of Icelandic singer, songwriter, composer, producer and actor Björk references the layered soundscapes she creates in her music and her pioneering, eclectic musical output, spanning electronica, pop, experimental, trip hop, classical, avant-garde and jazz fusion.

In her Sonic Symbolism podcast, she describes the moods that vibrate through her albums like a visual artist; organic and synthetic materials, textures and colours: ‘silver, mohair, warrior, confrontational, celestial, brass, copper…’

This imagery served as the inspiration for this piece, along with her collaborations with Alexander McQueen, the iconic swan dress worn to the 2001 Academy Awards, her exploration of Japanese culture and her first all-female anarcho-punk band aged 13, ‘Spit and Snot’.

Printed on archival cotton core 310gsm museum heritage paper with a subtle watercolour texture with light fast pigment inks. Each print is signed, titled and a numbered edition of 100 in each size. A care and handling guide is provided with each print.

All packaging has been sourced from eco-conscious suppliers using recycled and/or biodegradable materials where possible. Prints are packaged and shipped flat in reinforced cardboard envelopes via Parcelforce tracked delivery.
